This photo is taken of the Barnget Branch in Toms River and how
it looks today.  This part of the line ran parallel to Lakehurst
Road.  The right of way is still there (it exists all the way
down the line) but the bridges over the Toms River have been
removed.  Alas, the trains are a distant memory.  There are still
several ties on both sides of the grade crossing. As you can see,
the road had given way.  Underneath, the grade crossing still
exists. A clear sign that the track removal project was hastily done.
