Metuchen station in September 2000.
Jersey Central station at Jersey City.  This is the view one would get from the ferry crossing the river.  Most of the building has been restored by the State of New Jersey.
Another shot of the CNJ Jersey City station, showing the main entrance.
A cold and rainy May 2000 day shows the empty ferry slips and the Twin Towers partially covered by fog.  (Ferry service is still provided.)
Freehold was served by both the CNJ and PRR.  Here is the station as it appears today.  Conrail operates freight trains along the ex-PRR line and that station currently serves as a bus station for New Jersey Transit.
Point Pleasant Beach station in September 2000.  The station was designed to resemble the original station, which was torn down in the expansion of Rt. 35.  Unfortunately, it took almost 30 years for Pt. Beach to get another station..
Spring Lake station in April 2000.  Unlike Red Bank, the station is not in use.  Built in 1898, it was renovated in 1974 and is owned privately.
The famous B&O Mount Clare Roundhouse, now serving as roundhouse and museum for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum.
The 1851 Erie Railroad Port Jervis station.  No longer an active station, it has been transformed to a museum honoring the relation between the Erie and the town.
The inside of Toronto's Union Station in October 1997.
Reading's West Trenton Station (eastbound side) as it appears today.  The building is now privately owned and the owners make it a point to inform anyone who may think they can catch a train there.  Passengers dropped off here, access an undertrack walkway to get to the  westbound side, where Septa's parking is.
Bay Head station as seen in October 2000.  The station has changed little over the years.  (Compare to photo under History of Rail, then NY&LB.)
Cape May City station for the CMSL in 1998.  The station was originally a freight station, as the original passenger station was closer to the ocean.  The station is currently (Fall 2000) undergoing renovation/expansion by the CMSL.
Red Bank station in March 2001.  Built in 1876, the station is still in use.
Former CNJ Freneau station as seen in Allaire State Park in December 2000.
Former PRR Allenwood station as seen in Allaire State Park in December 2000.
This view is from the waiting area of Trenton Station.  From the inside, one can see eastbound and westbound train movements.
This exterior view show the tracks and walkway of the station.  The two columns are the staircases/elevators that allow passengers to get from the waiting areas to the track platforms to access New Jersey Transit, Amtrak & Septa.
The main entrance to the station.  While Amtrak controls rail operations, NJT controls the maintenance of the building itself.  NJT has made vast improvements to the station since it took over ownership from Amtrak.
Former NY&LB Sea Girt station as seen February 2001.  Just south of the station, was the interlocking with the PRR's line to Freehold.  Sea Girt is currently not a stop on the NJCL and the building is used as Sea Girt's library.
New Hope & Ivyland's New Hope, PA station as seen in July 2001.
Former Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Line Hammonton station as seen in February 2001.  The station is not currently used by NJT or its passengers.
