CSX GP38-2 2627. (So far, we have not seen a NS painted locomotive
on either the Freehold or Southern Secondary.) |

CSX GP38-2 2627 was also decorated for Christmas. |

cold day to see Santa. Children could get their photo taken in front
of the Conrail locomotive on Santa's lap at no charge. (Photo courtesy

After getting his photo taken
with Santa (and staring at the locomotive), my son was eager to get a better
look at the giant candy canes on the front of the engine. |
