Southern New Jersey photos on September 6, 2004.

SRNJ M420 3519 in Winslow Junction.
SRNJ M420 3578 & Lehigh Valley C420 414.
At Millville Yard. a pair of ex-Conrail GP40-2s is assigned to the yard.  Featured in this photo is GP40-2 4402.
And here is GP40-2 4404.
At the W&W headquarters in Bridgeton (-ex-CNJ trackage), the engines were parked in front of the locomotive shed.  No trains were running that day.
Coupled to a ARMN/UP reefer is ex-Erie Mining RS-11, currently lettered ALGX 7202.
Here's a close-up of the ex-Erie Mining RS-11.
Also in Bridgeton, an Alco FA-1, originally SP&S #858, bought by the LIRR in 1973.  The LIRR used this engine as a cab control unit.  Not sure who this unit currently belongs to.
In Salem, the SRNJ was not running that day, but there were several old Chessie System hoppers with some still wearing their Chessie paint.
A close-up photo of one of the former Chessie System hoppers.  Personally, I am glad CSX did not repaint them all.
At Paulsboro Yard, several CSX GP40-2s are currently assigned there.  Featured in this photo is CSX GP40-2 4403, still in its Conrail paint.  The 4403, 4405 & 4412 are all Southern Secondary veterans.
