Lehigh Line photos from October 9, 2004
 
 
The first train of this foggy morning was the eastbound CSX mixed freight with SD70MAC 4704 leading.
The second engine was SD70MAC 729, a former Conrail unit. 
NS 212 comes out of the fog with GP60 7131 leading the train.
The third engine was Union Pacific SD40T-2 2935.
Photo of the engines rolling back into the fog.  The final unit was GP60 7119.
NS 214 rolls through South Plainfield with GP60 7114 leading.

The next train was NS 20K with SD60 6707 leading.

It's not too often I see one of these former Conrail SD60s.
The other engine was SD60I 6740, now wearing NS paint.
A short NS 24Z rolls through with D9-40CW 9799 leading another D9-4CW.
The second westbound train I saw was NS 213 with GP60 7128 leading.
CSX Q300 rolls through South Plainfield with 8-40CW 7344 leading AC44 329.

NS 99Z runs light to South Plainfield MOW Yard to pick the camp cars that had been there.  The engine is 8-40CW 8456, a former LMS unit.
A photo of the front of the engine.  After completing the assembly of the camp cars, the train returned to Oak Island.
NS M9G heads west with C39-8 8210 leading.
