Photos of the SA31 on the Southern Secondary in June 2005

On June 8, 2005, the SA31 is in the process of drilling DiNaso & Sons as sunset begins.
NS GP38-2 5282 was the engine used by the SA31.  In this photo, the empty cars are pulled out.
A photo of the train on the siding as it will return to the main track.
The final photo of the day.  A young railfan photographer snaps a photo as the SA31 couples the empties to the rest of the train.
On June 19, 2005 the SA31 was working their way down the Southern Secondary.  In this photo, the SA31, with NS GP38-2 5282, crosses Asbury Avenue after placing a car at Extech.
The engine is almost back to the rest of the consist.
The engine is now coupled to the train and they are ready to go.
Approaching Main Street in Farmingdale, the SA31 will proceed to drill Gold Lumber.
On the connecting track as they make their way to Gold Lumber.
After drilling Gold Lumber, the train is pushed back onto the Southern Secondary.
The SA31 momentarily stops just before the Main Street grade crossing before proceeding toward Lakewood.
As there is only a crossbuck protecting the crossing, the conductor had flagged the crossing to alert any traffic that the train was rolling through.
The SA31 passing the switch as they make their way to Lakewood.
