Southern Secondary photos from late June through early September 2004.

June 20, 2004 and the SA31 is laying over in Lakehurst.  Here is a ground level view of the train, with NS GP40-2 3055 leading the train.
This view is taken from the Route 70 overpass.
A second photo from the Route 70 overpass.  To the left of the train was the second track across the bridge.  Conrail removed this track a few years ago.
Later that afternoon, the SA31 is getting ready to drill DiNaso & Sons.
After completing their work at DiNaso & Sons, the train makes its way north along Railroad Street in Lakewood.  CSX GP15-1 1537 is leading the train,
Another photo of the train, showing the length of the train.  The true meaning of Shared Assets.
More of an artistic view, the train is framed by the shadows and the branches of the trees.
A going away shot of the two engines.  A good way to spend Father's Day.
On August 10, 2004, the sun has set as the SA31 crosses 2nd Street in Lakewood.
A slightly longer exposure led to the outcome of this photo.
The train has stopped so the conductor can prepare the cars for DiNaso & Sons.
The engine has stopped as they prepare to pull the empties out of the siding.
August 23, 2004 and NS GP40-2 3021 leads the SA31 out of Lakehurst on its way to Lakewood.
Getting ready to take the empties out of DiNaso's siding.
The crew has finished their work at DiNaso and the train is ready to leave.
